Delete your Walletger account & data

You can permanently delete your Walletger account and all associated data stored by us. This page explains how to request deletion in the Walletger web app or Android app, or by email.

Delete in the app (recommended)
If you can sign in to Walletger on the web or Android app:
- Sign in to your account.
- Open Settings (gear icon in the sidebar or menu).
- Scroll to the Delete account section.
- Click "Delete my account" and confirm.

Data we delete
- Your email address and authentication account
- Your financial profile (budgets, expenses, income, debts, goals, savings, credit card settings, and notes)
- Cloud sync data and subscription/trial records stored in our database
- Login activity associated with your account
Data we may retain
Paddle (our payment provider) may retain billing receipts and tax records for legal and accounting purposes after you delete your Walletger account. We do not keep copies of your financial profile after deletion is complete. Aggregated, non-identifiable analytics from the website (only if you previously accepted analytics cookies) are not tied to your account.
Retention period
In-app deletion through Settings is processed immediately and permanently removes your Walletger profile from our database. Email deletion requests are completed within 30 days after we verify that you own the account. Paddle may retain payment and tax records for longer periods where required by law (typically up to 7 years).
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email us from the address linked to your Walletger account. We will verify ownership and delete your account within 30 days.
